New York ELC seeks qualified EFL teachers to begin mid-February for a minimum of five months.

Loja, Ecuador is located high in a valley in Ecuador's southern Andes. It is a small city of around 180,000 people and deemed the music capital of Ecuador. Loja enjoys spring-like temperatures year round.

Positions available:
EFL teachers for children, adolescents and adults. Children start at 4 years old. There are distinct groups 4-5 year olds, 5-6 year olds and 7-8 year olds. These are 3pm in the afternoons. After that 4pm, 5pm classes are from 9+. The 2 hour intensive class 7-9pm could have adolescents or adults. We teach to the Cambridge ESOL syllabus.

Desired qualifications also include experience working with all ages starting at 4 years old to adults, teaching Grammar, Pronunciation, Speaking and Listening courses. Knowledge of Spanish is preferred but not essential.

Duties: 5 hours per day Monday to Friday with opportunities for extra tutoring and Saturday classes. Teachers are provided with student and teacher books, prepared planning calendar, pre-written tests and available resources, access to computers and internet.
